Frequently Asked Questions
Learn how to make the most of your new UltimateCloth!
How do I use my UltimateCloths?
It’s easy! They’ll feel a little stiff at first, but don’t worry, they’ll soften with use and washings.
To use an UltimateCloth, simply:
- Wet thoroughly with water
- Wring out tight – and don’t be a sissy about it!
- Wipe your surface
-
Walk away – One step cleaning! (No need for paper towels or 2nd cloth to dry & polish)
Hot Tips
For best results, once wrung out, fold the cloth into quarters, giving you eight flat sides to clean with before having to rinse or wash the cloth.
- Try our cloths on all the surfaces in your home, business and vehicles. The more you use them, the more uses you find for them!
How do I care for my UltimateCloths?
- Machine or hand wash with dish soap or laundry detergent in warm water, rinse thoroughly. No fabric softener. Air dry.
- All UltimateCloths can be bleached for disinfection purposes.
- Always best to wash cloths alone or with lint-free items (not towels) to prevent the cloths from picking up lint that could transfer back to your surfaces.
- Make sure your cloth is clean & free of dirt or grit from any previous use prior to cleaning a delicate surface.
- Wring wet cloth out thoroughly to ensure a streak-free and spot-free finish.
- Tell your friends and family about the amazing UltimateCloths. It’s just too good not to share!
Above all, enjoy the time, money, and frustration this cloth will save you.
How often should I wash my cloths?
This depends entirely on the surfaces you are cleaning. For example, if you are cleaning indoor windows, the cloth may only need to be rinsed well and then put right back to work. However, if you have just cleaned a greasy stove-top the cloth is probably ready to be hand or machine washed with soap or detergent. The best way to tell when it is time to wash your cloths is if the surfaces you are cleaning are not left completely streak free.
What surfaces will the UltimateCloths clean?
UltimateCloths excel on any hard surface such as windows, glass, mirrors, chrome, stainless steel, black appliances, ceramic tile, corian, granite, marble, lexan and more. You will also find them to be useful at cleaning many ‘soft’ surfaces such as leather and vinyl.
Put them to work in your Kitchen, Bathroom, Windows, Mirrors, Framed Artwork, Crystal, Appliances, Shower Doors, Counter-tops, Cars, Motorcycles, Boats, and RV’s! Click here to learn more.
Can I use the UltimateCloth on delicate surfaces such as electronic screens, camera lenses, eyeglasses?
Absolutely!
Many surfaces in and around our home are extremely sensitive to scratching or chemicals that could mar or blur the surface. There are no chemicals in an UltimateCloth and a clean cloth is guaranteed not to scratch. Safe to use on TV screens, computer monitors, handheld devices, touch screens, eyewear, camera lenses and even musical equipment!
PLEASE NOTE: Dirt or grit from a previous use can scratch a sensitive surface but the cloth will not. Use new or clean cloths when cleaning delicate surfaces.
How long do the cloths remain effective?
UltimateCloths are warranted for up to 5 years of general home use. This is determined by the finishing processes (such as color dying) the individual collections go through.
After that, the lifespan of the cloth is a practical issue. We use the analogy that if someone were to wear one pair of jeans every day and washed them every other day – then that pair of jeans would not last as long as they would if the person had 3 – 4 pairs and washed them every couple of weeks. It’s the same with the cloth. The life and effectiveness of the cloth will be affected by excessive daily use, number of washings, soaking in bleach, drying in the dryer or use with any type of caustic chemicals.
Why would I need more than 1 or 2 cloths?
Once you fall in love with the cloths (and you will!) you’ll really know the answer to this question because you’ll always want to have a cloth close at hand for every cleaning job! Until then…
- Best to have several cloths available to use, placing them in the bathroom, the kitchen and in the car or garage. When one or two are dirty, you’ll have another clean and ready to go when needed.
- Our customers are so amazed with the performance of the cloth, they love to give them as gifts to their friends and family. We love to give package discounts to help make it easy to use them everywhere and to share them with those you love.
What is the difference between the cloths in the UltimateCloth Collections?
ALL UltimateCloths are made from the revolutionary Mirafiber™ technology, which means they share the same amazing attributes outlined above. We simply have the UltimateCloths finished with a few different features to meet our customers preferences:
- Classic Whites: The standard Classic White cloth is the original, economical workhorse with no dyes or other finishes. They might show some stains after putting them to work but they’ll always get the job done! The ‘Classic White’ cloths are available in three sizes for your convenience.
- ‘COLORS’: Our COLORS come in a variety 4 pack of different colors (Yellow, Green, Purple and Blue) and are sold as a set to allow you to ‘color code’ for different jobs/rooms.
- Antimicrobial Cloths: These cloths are sold in a package of two (Sahara Tan and Slate Grey) and actually begin to kill the bacteria, germs and contaminants pulled into your cloth while also preventing bacteria and mold growth.
- PROfessional Cloth: This chamois colored cloth has a ‘dimpled’ surface which many feel gives greater scrubbing action for the tougher/bigger jobs they encounter. Created for those tougher, dirtier jobs, this unique textured design picks up dirt and grime fast with a built in scrubbing action that gives a superior clean like the real PROfessional that it is!

How are UltimateCloths different from other cloths on the market today?
- UltimateCloths are a unique, expensive technology that we have priced affordably (wow, what a novel concept)!
- They are made in the USA (not China) from an internationally patented European technology called Mirafiber™
- They are Multi-surface so you NEVER need a different cloth for individual rooms or surfaces.
- UltimateCloths have NO stitching or hems that could scratch surfaces
- An UltimateCloth will never fray or tear – no linting
- UltimateCloths clean, polish and dry in one smooth, easy step. No second cloth or paper towel needed to dry and polish the surface
- All UltimateCloths can be bleached for disinfection
- Because they are so durable, they are guaranteed for up to 5 years
- Our Antimicrobial Collection contains long (endless) silver microfilaments woven into the fabric during the manufacturing process. Because they are not short silver particles, they will not release into the ecosystem or become ineffective over time and washings. AND
- YOU WILL LOVE THEM AND NEVER WANT TO BE WITHOUT ONE (even on vacations!)
Why would I be getting water spots?
Water spots are caused by too much moisture in your cloth and it simply means you did not wring it out tight enough prior to wiping your surface.
Why am I getting streaks on my windows?
You want to first make sure that what you’re seeing is not actually water spots that have not evaporated due to your cloth being too wet (see previous question). Otherwise, streaks can be caused by residual grease or dirt in the cloth from a previous surface which may not have been rinsed or washed out sufficiently. This can hinder the ‘streak free clean’. Please hand or machine wash them with dish soap or detergent – make sure they are rinsed properly and resume use.
Why is the cloth not working on my stainless steel?
Almost every problem we’ve seen with stainless steel has been caused by cleaners previously used on the surface. Most stainless steel cleaners are silicone based and leave a coating on the surface that causes smears even when you just try to spot clean it.
The good news is that once this film is removed,* UltimateCloths will clean your stainless in one easy step leaving you with a beautiful, shiny clean result every time! Believe me, you’ll fall in love with your Stainless all over again!
*You can remove this coating with just an UltimateCloth and water; however, it can involve a lot of effort as the coating can be quite stubborn.
Stainless Steel Instructions
Traditional cleaners with a silicone base leave a residue or film behind that cause frustrating streaks, spots or smears.
First Time Use
Build-up of previous stainless steel cleaners must first be removed from the surface:
Wet UltimateCloth™ thoroughly with water.
Fold the UltimateCloth™ into quarters, offering you 8 flat sides to clean with.
Add baking soda to the top of the 1st side. Add more water if necessary to form a light paste.
It's very important to clean/wipe with the grain of your stainless steel to keep from scratching your surface.
Repeat with other sides of cloth until all the stainless cleaner is permanently removed.
Wash the UltimateCloth™ to remove cleaner and baking soda.
Further Maintenance
Your stainless steel surface may now be easily cleaned with a damp UltimateCloth™ alone.
You will have a streak free, scratch free, lint, dust, and spot free surface every time!
Helpful Hints
Always use a clean cloth when cleaning stainless steel or other sensitive services.
If you get streaks after you have removed the cleaner, your cloth is dirty and must be rinsed or machine washed. See washing instructions in FAQ or About Mirafiber®.
If you get water spots that remain on your surface it simply means you've had too much water in the cloth – ring the UltimateCloth™ out well.
Once you fall in love with the cloth on your stainless, try it on all your other beautiful kitchen surfaces like granite, marble, ceramic, & glass topped stoves!
