Whether you drive a car, truck, or motorcycle, you can detail your ride like a pro—with nothing more than an UltimateCloth and plain ol’ water. No chemicals. No soap. No streaks. Just a clean, shiny ride inside and out. Here’s how:
🧰 What You’ll Need:
-
1 clean UltimateCloth (Any of our cloths will do the job so pick your favorite for each surface)
-
1 bucket of clean water — no soap needed!
💡 HOT TIPS Before You Start:
-
Rinse your cloth often as you go.
-
Change the water when it gets too dirty.
-
Fold your cloth into quarters — makes it easier to wring out and gives you 8 clean surfaces to work with. When one side gets dirty, flip to a fresh one!
🧽 Interior First:
-
Start with the inside windows and mirrors first so you don’t pull something into the cloth from the other surfaces that may leave streaks. (The windshield and inside windows can be a pain but they’ll be a breeze with a clean cloth). HOT TIPS #2:
- Leave the outside of the windows for later as they can be quite dirty and you want to keep your water ‘fresh’.
-
If you see water droplets left behind, your cloth is too wet. Wring it out well to avoid water spots. You’ll notice the water evaporates quickly when the cloth is just damp.
-
By the way, a clean cloth will never scratch a surface so it’s safe to use on motorcycles and boats wind screens too!
-
Move on to the dashboard, instrument panel, chrome or wood trim, leather seats, and door panels.
-
You can even lift some light stains from the headliner or carpets—just dampen the cloth and gently blot or wipe.
🚗 Now, the Exterior:
-
Grab a fresh bucket of water and rinse the outside of your vehicle with a hose if it’s really dirty—or use your sopping wet cloth to loosen up bug guts, bird droppings, and road grime.
-
Important: Let the water do the work—don't scrub hard. The UltimateCloth won’t scratch surfaces, but dirt can.
-
Wipe down the paint, chrome, and wheels. Got scuff marks on your motorcycle’s chrome exhaust? The cloth can take care of that too.
-
Lastly, finish with the outside of your windows. Rinse your cloth well and refresh your water if needed. Even if the cloth doesn’t look showroom-ready, it’s still cleaning like a champ!
🎉 All Done?
Step back and admire your clean ride. You did it! Go ahead—pat yourself on the back and take that baby for a spin. 😎
